Pakistan’s climate minister has talked about that a summer season heatwave, which has attain months sooner than licensed, has been melting glaciers in the Himalayas.
The melting has led to flooding which swept away a large bridge in the city of Hasanabad after what’s is thought as a glacial lake outburst.
Though heatwaves are a general incidence in Pakistan, they admire attain sooner than licensed this twelve months all over South Asia and reached file ranges.
Some areas hit temperatures above 40C (104F), inflicting energy and water shortages.
